Description:

Flo Saline Plus is a non-medicated, preservative-free, isotonic nasal saline spray with added minerals, designed to clear a blocked or runny nose gently. A blocked or runny nose could be a result of:

  • colds
  • hay fever and allergies
  • sinus congestion

Flo Saline Plus helps relieve and reduce nasal congestion by gently washing and thinning excess mucus in the nasal cavities. It also helps clear mucus that may contain airborne irritants, germs, and allergens e.g., pollen, dust mite, mould spores, pet dander etc. For those with colds, hay fever or allergies, it is particularly helpful to wash out germs or allergens lodged in the nose.

A gentle nasal saline spray like Flo Saline Plus is also helpful for those with pregnant rhinitis. According to research studies, nasal symptoms like sneezing, a blocked or runny nose can be quite common during pregnancy.

Flo Saline Plus is fitted with a pump delivery system which helps keep the solution sterile, so it does not need added preservatives and chemicals.

Flo Saline Plus may also be used with other medicated nasal sprays. Ask your health professional for more details about this.

Ingredients:

Purified water, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride.

Usage Directions:

  • Flo Saline Plus consists of a preservative-free saline solution with added minerals. It is gentle enough to be used daily and can be used 3-4 times a day or just as required.
  • If the nose is very blocked, try a medicated nasal decongestant spray first e.g., Flo Rapid Relief to unblock the nose. Then use Flo Saline Plus to gently wash away excess mucus, pollens, and irritants, which may still be present in the nasal cavities.
  • If a blocked or runny nose is a result of hay fever or an allergy, a preservative-free antihistamine nasal spray may be helpful. Eze Allergy Nasal Spray can be used by adults and children from 5 years of age. It also can be used continuously for up to 6 months.
  • When using a nasal spray, follow directions for use and refer to the correct technique. Using a spray the right way can make all the difference.
